WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT

Northern Helm is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable individual to join our team as a Delivery Specialist + Cannabis Guide. This role combines exceptional customer service with safe and reliable delivery. As a brand ambassador, you'll provide an elevated, informative experience in-store and ensure timely, secure delivery of cannabis products to our customers. You will be a key player in building our community, sharing Northern Helm's commitment to responsible cannabis use and customer education.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Engagement & Cannabis Guidance

Welcome customers warmly and provide an exceptional experience that reflects Northern Helm's values. Guide customers in their cannabis journey by offering insights on products, accessories, and responsible use. Confidently share product knowledge, including effects, strains, and methods of consumption, while staying updated on new trends and offerings. Operate our compliant POS system, handle transactions accurately, and process cash when needed. Assist in the organization, stocking, and display of products, maintaining a clean and inviting store atmosphere. Verify customer ID for age compliance, ensuring all visitors are 19+. Uphold all provincial and federal cannabis regulations, as well as Northern Helm's company policies.
Delivery Responsibilities

Complete timely deliveries, ensuring products arrive safely at customers' locations. Verify customer identification upon delivery, ensuring compliance with legal age requirements. Communicate with customers to confirm delivery windows and address any potential delays. Keep accurate records of all deliveries, following all documentation and reporting protocols. Maintain the delivery vehicle in safe, clean, and operational condition, reporting any issues promptly. Adhere to all local and federal transportation and safety regulations related to cannabis delivery.
Qualifications

Minimum 1-3 years of retail experience, or similar experience with a focus on customer service Valid CannSell certification Clean criminal record check required Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, community-focused environment Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset Proficient with basic math skills and POS systems Knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and regulations is an asset Must be 19+ and hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods and handle light lifting (5-35lbs). Comfortable driving a vehicle for multiple deliveries in various weather conditions Able to perform in-store tasks related to stocking and store maintenance
Compensation

Starting at $17.50/hr + mileage + Tips
