Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver & Shipping Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to navigate routes efficiently, and the capability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks.

Duties

Safely operate company vehicles including 25' flatbed trailer and a 22' boxed trailer to various sites across Ontario Load securely and unload products efficiently, ensuring safe handling of items. Navigate assigned routes using GPS or maps while adhering to traffic laws. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and receipts. Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues. Communicate with production and scheduling teams to coordinate deliveries. Maintain a professional and courteous attitude while representing Maximum Signs on the road. Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organization. Package and prepare outgoing shipments ensuring all items are accounted for and securely packed and properly documented. Utilize equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks for loading and unloading tasks. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and shipping area.

Qualifications

Valid Ontario driver's license with a clean driving record ( drivers abstract requested). Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety practices is essential. Experience in warehouse operations is a plus, including skills in heavy lifting and moving items. Experience hauling and operating 25' flatbed / enclosed trailers. Comfortable with tie-downs, loading equipment. Knowledge of route driving techniques and local area navigation is beneficial. Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
