Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and efficiency, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. A background in commercial driving, warehouse operations, or moving is preferred.

Responsibilities

Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload products, ensuring safe handling and adherence to weight limits. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety compliance. Communicate with customers regarding delivery times, special requests, and any issues that may arise during transit. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations. Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure timely loading and unloading of products. Assist with heavy lifting and moving of items as required during deliveries.

Qualifications

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred; experience in commercial driving is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues. Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks as part of daily responsibilities. Previous experience in warehouse operations or moving services is advantageous. A strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols while on the road.

Pay: $17.87 per hour
