We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation standards
Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station and work areas
Ensure all food handling complies with safety and sanitation policies
Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
Follow proper food safety procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure freshness
Assist in inventory management by rotating stock and notifying management of shortages or expired items
Requirements
Proven experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or food service setting
Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices in the food industry
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen operations
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not mandatory for highly motivated candidates willing to learn
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays as needed
