Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver / Warehouse Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires heavy lifting , excellent customer service skills, as you will be interacting with clients and ensuring their satisfaction with our services. A strong background in commercial driving and warehouse operations is preferred.

Duties

Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and receipts. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient loading processes.

Qualifications

Proven experience in commercial driving, preferred. Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Previous warehouse experience is a plus, including familiarity with loading procedures and inventory management. Ability to perform heavy lifting and move items safely within the warehouse and during deliveries. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in completing delivery documentation. A positive attitude and commitment to providing exceptional service in every interaction.

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
