Demeter Veterinary Services is part of a Canadian team of 20 veterinarians dedicated to the swine industry. The head office is located in Levis, Quebec, while operations are performed from Woodstock, Ontario. We support swine producers in Ontario, but also across Canada through the collaboration with 3 other veterinary offices and pharmacies (Quebec, Manitoba and Alberta). Customer service and support is our top priority. Your first priority will be to serve Ontario producers. In addition, you will also work closely with the full DVS team in order to continuously improve the different services provided to the entire Canadian customer base.

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 10am - 3:00pm daily hours may vary slightly (15-25 hours a week)

The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks. A background in warehouse operations and commercial driving is preferred.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of our operations department, including, but not limited to: Pick up and deliver packages within the specified timeframe. Ensure the safe and secure handling of all items. Provide exceptional customer service during each delivery. Use our app to manage delivery routes and updates. Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies. Experience operating forklifts is a plus. Basic knowledge of automotive repair is beneficial for maintaining vehicle performance.
Qualifications

Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Strong knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Experience operating forklifts is beneficial, but not mandatory A commitment to safety standards and procedures while on the road and at delivery sites.
