Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations while ensuring excellent customer service. This role requires a strong attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to operate various types of vehicles and equipment.

Responsibilities

Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling of materials. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise. Assist in the loading process, including operating forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries or concerns during deliveries.

Experience

Previous experience in commercial driving or delivery roles is preferred. Familiarity with freight handling and logistics operations is a plus. Experience operating heavy equipment or forklifts is highly desirable. Basic knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance is beneficial for vehicle upkeep.
