THE ROLE

As our delivery driver you will be responsible for performing pickup and delivery services for our commercial, industrial, residential and hospitality clients. This role is a blend of physical work, driving and customer service. We expect our driver to provide exceptional and timely service that our large customer base has come to expect over years of trusted service.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

The largest component of this position is performing mat rotations (pick up of soiled mats and replacement of clean mats) Navigate our assigned delivery routes, ensuring timely and safe deliveries Load delivery vehicle with required items for your assigned route, ensuring everything is on board and prepared - anticipating any gaps prior to departure Pick up and delivery of laundry, uniforms, mats, to our residential, commercial or industrial accounts Monitor company vehicles and performance while promptly reporting any issues

PRODUCT DELIVERY AND PICKUP

Deliver and retrieve mats, uniforms, linen and laundry to customers Confirm accurate delivery quantities for each customer Collect soiled goods, organize and label them securely in the vehicle

CUSTOMER SERVICE

Foster consistent communication with our clients: build and maintain rapport to ensure a consistently positive experience

POST DELIVERY AND PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS

Unload and organize soiled goods when returning to the plant Maintain cleanliness of your vehicle during and between routes Report any vehicle accidents, mechanical issues or malfunctions promptly

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma A valid drivers license with a clean driving record (Drivers Abstract Required) Experience in physically demanding roles with heavy lifting Proven experience in delivery services Record of punctual work attendance Detail oriented attributes Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Lifting ability of 25 lbs. to load and unload product from vehicles without assistance This position requires bending, squatting, climbing and reaching.

COMPENSATION

The hourly rate that Deluxe Dry Cleaning and Laundry expects to pay for this position (Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30 pm) ranges from $18.50 to $20.50 per hour, depending on circumstances including an applicant's skills and qualifications, certifications and prior job experience. Commission opportunities are also available.
