Our company is a growing national leader in the linen industry with operations located across Canada. We are seeking an energetic, experienced Class 5 body truck driver who is interested in working a flexible schedule in our Distribution Centre located in Saskatoon, SK.
Reporting to the Distribution Centre Manager you will be responsible for:
Delivering and picking up linen carts in a safe manner.
Interacting directly with customers.
Being observant and compliant with traffic laws.
Performing pre and post trip inspections and other necessary preventative maintenance .
Securing loads before leaving sites.
Report mechanical issues to the Freight Manager
Cleaning truck regularly.
Completing other tasks as assigned by the Distribution Centre Manager.
NOTE:
Temporary 1-2 months.
Work 40 hours/week (5 days X 8 hours)
Start time will vary. May be required to work weekends and evenings
Qualifications and Skills:
Possess a valid Class 5 Driver License with air brake Minimum 3 years' driving experience Provide a Security Clearance Possess computer knowledge and be able to use a cell phone, GPS and other technology Speak, read and write English Provide a current driver's abstract
