Duties
Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and other commercial vehicles with manual transmissions.
Load and unload goods efficiently using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring proper handling of heavy items.
Plan and follow optimized delivery routes to maximize efficiency and punctuality.
Deliver products directly to customers' locations, providing friendly and professional service throughout each interaction.
Verify delivery accuracy, obtain signatures, and complete all necessary documentation for each shipment.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness, perform routine inspections, and report any mechanical issues promptly.
Assist with warehouse tasks when needed, including inventory management and moving stock within the facility.
Requirements
Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with a strong focus on route driving and customer service.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles preferred.
Ability to lift heavy loads safely, demonstrating strength and stamina for heavy lifting and moving tasks.
Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus; certification is advantageous.
Excellent navigation skills with the ability to read maps or GPS systems accurately.
Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
