Key Responsibilities:

Operating vehicles in a safe and responsible manner. Daily vehicle inspection: including verifying warning lights, fluids and pressures are all in working order. Performing product delivery to customers in a courteous and well-presented manner. Loading and unloading trucks. Collecting payments as advised. Assisting warehouse staff in keeping warehouse, freezer and cooler areas tidy and organized. Picking and assembling orders when required. Handling and organization of pallets and cases. Clean up and disposal of all garbage and debris in the truck cab and cargo area. Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle's interior, exterior and cargo area. Including washing and vacuuming on a bi-weekly basis or as required. Operating forklift, pallet jack and trucks in a safe and responsible manner. Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

Valid driver's license with clean driver's abstract. Previous work experience will be considered an asset. Truck driving (3 ton) experience. Training will be provided. Familiarity with local routes will be considered an asset. Willingness to work in a cold environment. Ability to perform physical tasks requiring lifting, carrying, and moving objects weighing 30+ lbs. safely and effectively. Physical fitness and stamina to sustain prolonged periods of activity, repetitive movements, and manual labor. Previous work experience is an asset but not required. Training will be provided. Commitment to safety standards and practices.
