We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting dairy products to various fixed locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle operation, excellent navigation skills, and the ability to handle freight efficiently.
Responsibilities
Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status.
Can operate power jack for loading and unloading tasks.
Perform minor automotive repairs and maintenance on delivery vehicles when necessary.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
Qualifications
Valid Class 3 or above commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred; experience in commercial driving is a plus.
Must be able to lift heavy products
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Excellent communication skills
