Join Hertel's and make a difference with every delivery! We're looking for a Delivery Driver who takes pride in connecting products with our valued customers.

Duties:

Conduct daily pre-trip checks of your vehicle to ensure safety Loading boxes into customer stores in an orderly and efficient manor Adhere to and ensure all hygienic food safe and WorkSafeBC requirements in the plant are followed. Have a positive and friendly disposition when communicating with customers. Safely operate trucks to transport goods to various destinations Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment Follow planed routes to meet delivery schedules Maintain accurate driving logs and ensure compliance with all regulations Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors and customer
Skills:

Proficient in commercial driving techniques Familiarity with freight handling procedures Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
Requirements:

Valid class 5 license Excellent time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physically fit (ability to lift/carry 100lbs) Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work in a refrigerated environment
