Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and team members. The Delivery Driver will also be expected to assist with loading and unloading products, as well as performing warehouse duties as needed.

Duties

Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety compliance. Assist in warehouse operations, including inventory management and organization of goods. Utilize forklifts when necessary for moving heavy items within the warehouse or during deliveries. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Experience in commercial driving preferred but not required. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the day. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members. Previous experience in customer service or warehouse environments is a plus. Familiarity with forklift operation is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays as required by the delivery schedule.
