Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering products to our customers in a timely and efficient manner. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as well as the ability to navigate routes effectively and handle various delivery tasks. The Delivery Driver will operate a box truck and may be required to perform heavy lifting, moving, and loading/unloading of goods.

Responsibilities

Safely deliver floral arrangements and gifts to customers' homes, businesses, hospitals, and event venues Load and unload products from the vehicle, ensuring items are secure during transport. Plan and follow an efficient delivery route to ensure timely drop-offs and maximize fuel and time efficiency Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns. Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation. Verify order information and delivery instructions before leaving the shop Assist with basic shop duties when not on delivery (e.g., organizing and packing deliveries, taking out garbage, etc.) Ensure inside of vehicle is kept clean (i.e., remove any garbage from vehicle at the end of day)

Skills

Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Previous experience in delivery driving or courier services is preferred. Experience with heavy lifting and moving items efficiently. Proficient in route driving, ensuring timely deliveries while optimizing travel paths.

Requirements

Must be

25 years of age or older

(for insurance purposes) Valid Class

G driver's license

(or equivalent) Must provide a

clean driver's abstract

Familiarity with local roads and GPS apps for route planning Strong time management skills and ability to work independently Able to lift up to 30 lbs and work in all weather conditions Polite, reliable, and professional appearance
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
