What you'll do

Safely operate a truck and trailer or similar vehicle to deliver products to designated locations. Load and unload items efficiently, ensuring all deliveries are handled with care. Follow assigned routes while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Provide outstanding customer service by communicating effectively with recipients during deliveries. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any issues or delays encountered on the route. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability. Collaborate with warehouse staff to manage inventory and assist in loading processes as needed. Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary to facilitate smooth operations.

Experience

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Class 1 or class 3 license would be an asset Min require of BC heavyweight endorsement Experience operating tractors and heavy equipment Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Experience in warehouse operations is a plus, including knowledge of loading/unloading procedures.
