Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. This role requires a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to operate various types of equipment as needed. The Delivery Driver plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of our logistics operations and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Duties

Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations according to schedule Verify delivery orders and ensure accuracy of shipments before departure Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times or issues Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns Assist with the loading and unloading of freight, utilizing skills in heavy equipment operation if required Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting to ensure vehicle readiness for daily routes Delivery Area- Nepean. 50-70 daily stops. Permanent Job NOT seasonal. Monday to Friday 7am-4Pm

Skills

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience preferred Knowledge of freight handling and transportation regulations Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and troubleshooting Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate documentation Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members Ability to operate commercial vehicles safely over long distances or in urban environments Physical ability to lift heavy freight and perform manual tasks as needed Smartphone required with working internet.

Pay: $180.00 per day
