We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong communication skills, physical stamina, and experience operating warehouse equipment. The Delivery Driver plays a vital role in maintaining customer satisfaction and the efficient operation of our logistics process.

Responsibilities

Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver products to customers and warehouses. Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary. Assist with moving heavy or bulky items, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols are followed. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and address any concerns professionally. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip. Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition. Follow all traffic laws and company policies during deliveries. Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate loading schedules and inventory management.

Experience

Previous warehouse experience is preferred, especially involving moving and handling heavy items. Commercial driving experience is required, with a valid driver's license suitable for operating delivery vehicles. Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus but not mandatory; training may be provided. Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients during deliveries. Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with team members and customers. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks regularly.
