Duties and responsibilities

Weekends are required full open availability

Class G / CLASS 3 QUE drivers license /

2 YEARS MINUMUM DRIVING A 3 TON TRUCK in Ontario

Clean drivers Abstract required (to be submitted at time of applying)

Experience loading, unloading, hand bombing and transporting products Must be able to operate large vehicle in city traffic

2 YEARS MINUMUM DRIVING A 3 TON TRUCK IN ONTARIO

Perform trip inspections on equipment operated and loaded, ensuring safety and road worthiness Comply with applicable legislation including safe operation, carriage of goods, drivers hours, occupational health and safety Perform pre-trip vehicle inspection to ensure mechanical using an ELD device, safety and emergency equipment is in good working order Maintain daily logs, ELD inspection logs and other necessary paperwork Comply with HACCP and SQF Standards perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as needed

Ability to operate single axel trucks in a safe and responsible manner Client service and public interaction skills Analytical and problem solving skills Effective verbal and listening communication skills Ability to read and write to record deliveries and maintain daily records Time management skills Be respectful Be flexible Deal with the public in a positive, courteous and respectful manner

Minimum 25 years of age or older*

Minimum 2 year driving experience with a 3 ton Truck in Ontario is mandatory*

Start times between 6:00AM and 9:00AM Finish times vary depending on volume. Expect long days of 8 to 10 hours on a consistent basis

Open Availability - Sunday to Saturday & Statutory Holidays

Physical requirements

The Truck Driver has a physically strenuous and demanding job. He/she will be lifting, pulling and managing heavy objects. Drivers sit but also stand, walk, bend and stoop to unload orders. Lifting and carrying of product does not exceed 50lbs.
