Delights Produce is a small business in Langley, BC. We are professional, agile, and our goal is to expand our foot print in the lower mainland. Delivery Driver
We require that the candidate MUST be living in Langley, or east side of surrey (close to Langley).
Duties:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Verify and document delivery instructions and customer information
- Collect payments from customers, if required
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
Skills:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role
- Familiarity with local roads and routes
- Ability to navigate using GPS or other navigation tools
- Excellent time management skills to ensure on-time deliveries
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing paperwork
- Ability to lift heavy packages, max of 50 lbs
- Owning a phone with data plan for navigation
