Job Overview
We are looking for a part-time Driver to join our team at our production kitchen in Mount Pleasant. You will play a vital role in ensuring that our fresh baked goods are delivered promptly and in perfect condition from our production kitchen to our retail stores across Vancouver and the Sea to Sky region. Your reliability, attention to detail, and care in handling products directly support our mission to deliver exceptional experiences to our customers.
Duties
Product Delivery:
Safely and efficiently load and deliver baked goods and store essentials to our various locations, maintaining product integrity throughout transport.
Route Execution:
Operate designated delivery routes (Sea to Sky and Vancouver) with punctuality and professionalism. Follow all driving safety protocols and company procedures.
Vehicle Readiness:
Ensure the delivery vehicles are fueled, clean, and in good operating condition. Conduct basic vehicle checks and report any mechanical issues to the management team.
Supply Runs:
Pick up daily store supplies (e.g., milk, ingredients) as needed for bakery operations.
Requirements
Valid full BC driver's license with a clean driving record.
Comfortable driving a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van in all weather conditions.
Strong attention to timing, safety, and product handling.
Ability to lift up to 20kg.
Legally permitted to work in Canada.
Flexible availability, including weekend shifts and holidays.
Previous delivery or driving experience is preferred.
Expected Hours
Two to Three shifts on weekends (Friday - Sunday), with flexibility to cover other shifts. Hours are 4:00am to 11:30am.
