Overview

We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience with commercial driving, operate heavy equipment when necessary, and possess a strong safety record. Responsibilities

Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary Ensure accurate delivery of products, verifying orders against delivery manifests Maintain proper documentation of deliveries and pickups Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations during transit Assist with loading and unloading heavy or bulky items, utilizing heavy equipment as needed Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients upon delivery Follow company policies regarding safety procedures and operational protocols

Qualifications

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record suitable for commercial driving Experience delivering pizzas and dispatching orders Automotive repair skills are a plus for basic vehicle troubleshooting and maintenance Ability to operate commercial vehicles safely over long distances or in urban environments Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks as required Prior experience in delivery services or transportation roles is advantageous
