Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and professional Owner-Operator Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service.

5 to 7 Days of work available.

Pickup: Rue Clement, Montreal.

Delivery Area: Montreal & the Surrounding area.

Pay Per Delivered pkg: $1.50 to $1.60.

Payout: Bi-weekly- Bank Transfer (No-Tax Deducted), first pay takes time.

Expected deliveries: 80 to 160 per route (depending on the volume and performance).

Vehicle Requirement: Sedan or SUV.

Duties

Safely operate delivery trucks and commercial vehicles to transport goods to designated locations Load and unload freight using equipment such as forklifts when necessary Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries and pickups Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to maintain safety standards Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise Assist with the operation of heavy equipment or forklifts as needed for loading or unloading cargo Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting if required to maintain vehicle functionality Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during deliveries

Experience

Proven experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or delivery services Knowledge of heavy equipment operation, including forklifts, is a plus Familiarity with automotive repair or troubleshooting is advantageous Valid driver's license appropriate for commercial vehicle operation Prior experience handling freight or working with heavy equipment is preferred Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently in various environments
