Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong sense of responsibility and accountability, and the ability to navigate effectively. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining customer satisfaction in a fast paced environment.

Duties

Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Conduct routine inspections and basic automotive maintenance on the delivery vehicle. Maintain accurate delivery logs and records of shipments. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status or changes. Navigate routes efficiently using GPS or maps to ensure timely deliveries. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road. Operate forklifts and hand truck dollies as needed for loading and unloading freight. Assist in preparing daily delivery orders and perform pick-ups as needed.

Requirements

Valid driver's license (Class 5); clean driving record is essential. Experience in commercial driving is a must. Knowledge of basic automotive repair techniques is a plus. Familiarity with operating forklifts and heavy equipment is advantageous. Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading freight. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining delivery records. Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members. Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
