We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, and vehicle maintenance to support efficient delivery operations.
Duties
Safely operate delivery trucks and commercial vehicles to transport freight and goods to designated locations.
Load and unload cargo using pump truck or other heavy equipment as needed, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols.
Appliances installation basic experience require.
Verify delivery orders and ensure accurate documentation for each shipment.
Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Maintain communication with dispatch to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues during transit.
Assist with freight handling, including loading, unloading, and securing cargo to prevent damage during transit.
Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to keep vehicles in optimal condition.
Follow all traffic laws and safety procedures to ensure safe transportation at all times.
Skills
Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license.
Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
Basic automotive repair skills for vehicle troubleshooting and minor repairs.
Strong organizational skills for managing delivery schedules and documentation.
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with dispatch and customers.
