Duties

Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and commercial trucks with manual transmissions, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload goods using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques to ensure secure transport Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and meet scheduled delivery times Deliver packages directly to customers' locations, providing friendly and professional service during each interaction Verify delivery contents against orders, complete necessary documentation, and obtain signatures when required Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks before and after each shift Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, delays, or issues encountered during route driving

Experience

Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, ideally with route driving responsibilities in a fast-paced environment Prior warehouse experience is a plus, especially involving load & unload operations or moving heavy items Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and possessing a valid driver's license suitable for box trucks or larger vehicles Experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks is advantageous but not mandatory; training can be provided Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries professionally and courteously Ability to lift heavy loads repeatedly while maintaining safety standards during heavy lifting or moving tasks Comfortable working independently in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude

Pay: $480.00-$535.00 per day
