Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to navigate various delivery routes efficiently. This role involves operating a box truck, loading and unloading goods, and ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a box truck for deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload products from the vehicle, ensuring items are handled with care. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to meet customer needs promptly. Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients at delivery locations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues encountered. Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Utilize equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks for loading and unloading as necessary. Assist in warehouse duties when not on delivery routes, including inventory management and organization.

Experience

Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with commercial driving and operating box trucks is essential. Experience in customer service, demonstrating strong communication skills. Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely. Knowledge of route driving techniques and navigation skills is beneficial. Warehouse experience is a plus, including familiarity with manual transmission vehicles.
