Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism, with opportunities to operate heavy equipment and utilize specialized skills such as forklift operation and automotive repair.

Responsibilities

Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport freight and goods to designated destinations Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time, adhering to scheduled routes Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance or automotive repairs when necessary Maintain proper documentation of deliveries, including delivery receipts and logs Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status or issues Follow all safety protocols related to commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, and freight handling Assist in warehouse or loading dock operations when required

Qualifications

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience preferred Experience operating forklifts, heavy equipment, or other industrial machinery is a plus Knowledge of freight handling and logistics procedures Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting is advantageous Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor Ability to lift heavy loads and work in physically demanding environments Prior experience in commercial driving or delivery services is preferred but not mandatory

Pay: $18.06-$27.50 per hour
