About the Role:

We are a local Edmonton grocery store looking for a reliable Hybrid Delivery Driver and Store Assistant. This is a dual role: your primary responsibility will be driving our company van to make local deliveries around Edmonton on an as-needed basis. When not driving, you will be assisting inside the store to keep operations running smoothly.

This is a perfect role for someone who enjoys being on the road but also appreciates the stability of working in a friendly, local store environment.

$18.00/hour (above market average for general retail).

Company Vehicle:

Van provided for all deliveries--no wear and tear on your personal car.

Steady Schedule:

Guaranteed 5 days a week (Wednesday through Sunday).

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operating the company van to make grocery deliveries within the Edmonton area. Loading and unloading delivery orders (must be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly). Assisting in the store during downtime between deliveries (stocking shelves, organizing inventory, general store support). Providing friendly, professional service to our customers at their doorsteps.

Requirements:

Must possess a valid Class 5 Alberta Driver's License

(Non-GDL preferred, but experienced GDL drivers will be considered).

Clean Driver's Abstract:

Must be able to provide a standard 3-year or 5-year abstract upon request.

Physical Ability:

Capable of lifting 50 lbs (bags of flour, cases of drinks, etc.) throughout the shift.

Availability:

Must be available to work every week from Wednesday to Sunday (shifts are typically 5-7 hours per day). Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently while on the road. Speaking mandarin is a asset

Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
