Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficient driving, and proper handling of freight and heavy equipment when necessary. Prior experience with commercial driving and forklift operation is a plus.

Duties

Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed Ensure accurate delivery of products while adhering to scheduled routes and timelines Inspect vehicles regularly for maintenance needs and report any issues promptly Assist with the loading and unloading process, including the operation of heavy equipment when required Maintain proper documentation of deliveries, including receipts and delivery logs Follow all safety protocols related to commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, and freight handling Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules

Skills

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Experience in commercial driving and freight transportation preferred Ability to operate forklifts, heavy equipment, and other machinery safely Basic automotive repair knowledge for minor vehicle troubleshooting Strong organizational skills for route planning and delivery documentation Excellent communication skills for customer interactions and team coordination Physical ability to lift heavy freight and operate heavy equipment as needed Knowledge of safety procedures related to freight handling, heavy equipment operation, and commercial driving

Pay: $140.00-$200.00 per day
