Job Summary



The Delivery Technician is an integral part of the Home Health Care team, ensuring that the department's high standards of operations are maintained on a daily basis.

Responsible for the delivery of medical supplies and medications to clients and depots.

Responsible to have a criminal check annually, clean driver's abstract and valid full G drivers license for more than 1 year.

Responsibilities



Knowledge in Robinson's Pharmacy Group delivery areas

Ensure client confidentiality at all times

Consult with Supervisor in regards to assigned delivery area and specified timed deliveries or pickups of rental equipment

Combine all equipment, supply or medication orders and ensure accuracy of orders being delivered

Ensure delivery sheets/logs are reviewed/completed in order to plan route

Assist in entering, assembling medical supply and rental equipment orders

Perform pre-check and safety inspection on all equipment prior to release and complete documentation

Plan delivery route according to timed deliveries, and most cost and time efficient method

Responsible to contact clients to notify them of their delivery or pick up and special instructions required for set up

Responsible to perform daily visual vehicle inspection checks

Ensure set up and installation of equipment according to manufacturer's instructions and instruction to client as required

Responsible to be knowledgeable in storage, delivery, and management of waste and spills

Responsible to ensure all documentation is completed as per store policies and procedures

Responsible in the cleaning and segregating of all rental equipment as per store policies and procedures

Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
