Duties

Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and other commercial drivers' vehicles with manual transmissions. Load and unload goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques to ensure proper handling of products. Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and meet delivery schedules. Deliver products directly to customers' locations with professionalism and a friendly attitude. Verify delivery accuracy by inspecting shipments, completing delivery documentation, and obtaining customer signatures when required. Move inventory within warehouses or storage facilities as needed, assisting with warehouse organization and inventory management. Communicate clearly with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, delays, or issues encountered on route. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks to ensure optimal operation. Adhere strictly to traffic laws and safety regulations during all driving activities. Assist in load & unload operations at warehouses or customer sites, ensuring heavy items are handled safely and efficiently. Support team efforts by helping with warehouse tasks such as moving pallets or operating forklifts when necessary.

Skills

Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with a strong understanding of route driving and time management. Excellent customer service skills to represent the company professionally at each delivery point. Experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles with manual transmission is preferred. Ability to lift heavy items regularly and perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting or moving equipment. Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is advantageous. Strong driving skills with a clean driving record; knowledge of traffic laws and safety practices is essential. Good organizational skills for route planning and load management. Ability to work independently while following safety protocols diligently. Previous experience in warehouse operations or logistics is a plus but not mandatory.
