What will be your daily pursuit?The delivery driver at Forest Park is responsible for taking orders, explaining the menu and transporting food and related items from the restaurant to customers in a timely and safe manner.What perks can you expect?

What will you do in this job?

• Report safety and cleanliness deficiencies of the delivery vehicle.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure safe and responsible driving.
• Use defensive driving techniques to avoid accidents and maintain a clean driving record.
• Proactively upsell the menu while taking orders over the phone and in person.
• Collect and process payment accurately and promptly from guests while maintaining professionalism and trust
• Organize work to support other team members between orders.
• All employees must maintain a neat, clean, well-groomed and professional appearance.
• Assisting the team with Banquet and special event set up i.e., setting up tables, chairs, laying out tablecloths, place settings, beverage and/or food station set ups. a

What skills and experience do you need for this job?

• A valid drivers license and a clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently, responsibly and with a team.
• Strong knowledge of local roads and neighborhoods or familiarity with using GPS navigation apps or GPS devices
• Time management skills to ensure on-time deliveries. Physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of the job, i.e. ability to lift 20lbs-50lbs on a frequent basis
• Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time, up to 8 hours a day
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill job related tasks
