Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations(30 to 40deliveries /day)This role requires excellent time management skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional service. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering products on time and in good condition ( calgary to medicine hat )

Duties

Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload freight, ensuring that all items are secured properly during transit. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety compliance. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Perform basic automotive repairs or maintenance on the delivery vehicle when necessary.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license. Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols. Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy equipment safely. Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in automotive repair situations. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliveries efficiently. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers. Attention to detail to ensure accurate deliveries without damage or loss of goods.
