Job Overview

Sunnyside Food Products Inc. is a well-established food distribution company serving bakeries, pastry shops, and restaurants across the GTA.

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver (G License) to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting foodservice products safely and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a company delivery truck (automatic, G license) for local deliveries across the GTA.

Deliver foodservice products to bakeries, pastry shops, and food manufacturers.

Load and unload goods (average 20-25 kg per item).

Verify and collect signed invoices upon delivery.

Communicate effectively with warehouse and logistics teams regarding routes and schedules.

Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs.

Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle.

Assist in warehouse operations when not on the road (loading, organizing, inventory).

Represent the company with professionalism and courtesy at all times.

Requirements

Valid Ontario G driver's license with clean abstract.

2+ years of delivery or commercial driving experience (foodservice experience preferred).

Strong knowledge of GTA routes and traffic patterns.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and follow safety procedures.

Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.

Forklift license or warehouse experience is an asset but not required.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Schedule & Compensation

Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Full-time, permanent position

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience
