Job Overview



We are seeking reliable, hard-working individuals to join our Field Events team as Driver and Event Staff. This role is essential to the successful execution of our events. Team members are responsible for the safe vehicle operation and transportation, setup, breakdown, and return of event furniture, inflatables, and other rental equipment.

As a Driver and Event Staff member, you must be able to safely operate 26ft straight trucks, tow rides or trailers, lift and move heavy items, follow instructions, communicate clearly with team members and clients, and maintain a professional attitude at all times. This role requires operating company trucks up to and including 26ft straight trucks with lift gates, and availability on weekends and evenings.

Please note: This is not a standard 9-5 job. We are an event-based company and require team members with flexible availability including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

Event Setup & Breakdown

Load and unload trucks with care and efficiency Wrap and protect furniture and equipment during transit using blankets, wraps, staps and dollies. Set up rental items on-site according to client instructions and event layouts/floor plans Ensure all equipment is accounted for, properly placed, and undamaged during setup and pack up. Break down and reload items after events and return them to the warehouse according to process.
Vehicle Operations & Product Transportation

Safely operate company vehicles, up to and including

26ft straight trucks with lift gates,

according to vehicle operation laws. Follow assigned routes and maintain timely schedules Conduct pre and post - trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety Use lift gates and proper loading equipment safely and correctly Report any vehicle issues or incidents immediately
Warehouse & Teamwork

Assist with staging, cleaning, and organizing items before and after events Take inventory of items during load-in/load-out to ensure accurate counts Collaborate with team members and leads to execute tasks smoothly and safely Follow instructions from crew leads, clients, or supervisors professionally and respectfully
Requirements

Valid driver's license (required)

Ability to operate box trucks up to 26ft with lift gates (required)

Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items (75+ lbs) repeatedly Strong attention to detail and care for client property and company equipment Punctual, dependable, and professional in appearance and behaviour Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and occasional overtime High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous experience in moving, event setup, warehouse, or delivery driving is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
