Job Description

We are seeking owner-operator drivers with their own vehicles.
Vehicle Requirement: Sedan, SUV, or minivan.
Pay $1.50 per successfully delivered pkg.
Delivery areas: Edmonton and Surroundings.

Start Date: ASAP.

Pay $1.90 per successfully delivered pkg.
Delivery Area: Downtown Edm.

There are approximately 100 - 160 packages on each route.
Pickup Location: Edmonton-AB
Pickup time: Morning- Noon.
The route needs to be properly completed the same day, as per the given instructions.
Delivery areas: Edmonton and Surroundings.
Payout: Semi-Monthly(First pay takes time), Bank Transfer (No-Tax Deducted).
Scanning & loading done by the courier.

Duties

Safely operate delivery trucks and commercial vehicles to transport goods to designated locations Load and unload freight using equipment such as forklifts when necessary Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries and pickups Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to maintain safety standards Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise Assist with the operation of heavy equipment or forklifts as needed for loading or unloading cargo Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting if required to maintain vehicle functionality Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during deliveries

Experience

Proven experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or delivery services Knowledge of heavy equipment operation, including forklifts, is a plus Familiarity with automotive repair or troubleshooting is advantageous Valid driver's license appropriate for commercial vehicle operation Prior experience handling freight or working with heavy equipment is preferred Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently in various environments
