Be appropriately dressed for the elements
Perform general physical activities in order to load, unload, sort and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment
Operate Forklift
Operate, navigate and drive vehicles in safe, efficient manner following the rules of the road set by government legislation
Plan delivery routes, with co-ordination from the shipping supervisor, to maximize efficiency while on the road
Participate in the loading and/or unloading trucks
Follow Department of Transportation policy and procedures regarding Load Securement, Transportation of Dangerous Goods and operation of a commercial vehicle
Provide information for the completion of incident reports in relation to health and safety issues
Other duties as assigned This position requires the ability to handle multiple high priority tasks concurrently, work independently with little or no supervision and work efficiently and accurately within defined deadlines.
Organize and keep warehouse clean
Takes steps to avoid quality control issues or inventory damages
