Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries and excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will possess a strong driving record, familiarity with freight handling, and the ability to operate heavy equipment when necessary. Responsibilities

Safely operate delivery vehicles, including trucks and vans, to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or hand trucks. Able to lift 80lbs. Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule, maintaining high customer satisfaction. Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles and report any maintenance issues promptly. Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and inventory records. Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during transportation activities. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers regarding delivery status or issues. Self-motivated.

Experience

Prior experience in freight transportation preferred. Familiarity with forklift operation and heavy equipment handling is a plus. Basic automotive repair knowledge is advantageous for troubleshooting vehicle issues. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required. Experience operating commercial vehicles and navigating urban or rural routes preferred. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently is desirable. This role requires a dedicated individual committed to safety, punctuality, and excellent service delivery. Candidates should be prepared to handle physical tasks associated with freight handling and operate various types of equipment related to transportation logistics.
