G-P Distributing is a locally owned and operated foodservice distributor
that has been servicing the Yukon, NWT and Northern BC for 25 years.

product discounts. Position G-P Distributing is hiring Delivery Truck Drivers. This is a fast paced, physically demanding role. The main function of this position is to deliver (food, equipment, supplies) to our customers. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual who possesses a strong work ethic and can provide excellent customer service. Job Type: Delivery Driver Class: Full-time Hourly Pay: $25.00 per hour Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 7:00am -4:00pm NOC Code: NOC 7514 Key Responsibilities:

• Determine the most efficient delivery route daily, prior to loading product

• Loading/unloading product(s) from company vehicle, using proper care and safe handling procedures

• Delivering product to customers in a timely fashion

• Transport product returns, back to our facility as required

• Issuing credits and completing required paperwork

• Perform regular vehicle inspections

• Upkeep of the interior and exterior cleanliness of the vehicle

• Checking off orders at delivery point with customer to ensure satisfaction

• Operate vehicle to highest standard of safety

• Communicate with warehouse staff and management on priorities

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Ability to work well in a fast paced and physically demanding environment

• Self-motivated

• Ability to effectively work independently and as part of a team

• Capable of maintaining a professional image and enhancing customer relationships

• High level of attention to detail

• Ability to multi-task

• Able to comfortably lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs

• Must carry a valid class 3 driver\xe2\x80\x99s license

• Positive attitude, professional manner, and appearance in all situations

• Past work experience as a driver is considered a definite asset.
