We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience with commercial driving and operate heavy equipment when necessary. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are essential. Responsibilities

Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or hand trucks Ensure accurate delivery of products while adhering to scheduled routes and timelines Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly Maintain proper documentation of deliveries, including receipts and delivery logs Follow all safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and commercial driving Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate deliveries Assist with the operation of heavy equipment as needed for freight handling or warehouse tasks

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record Ability to operate forklifts, heavy equipment, and other machinery safely and efficiently Basic automotive repair knowledge for minor vehicle troubleshooting and maintenance Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and route planning Excellent communication skills for customer interactions and team coordination Physical ability to lift heavy freight and operate heavy equipment as required Knowledge of safety procedures related to freight handling, heavy equipment operation, and commercial driving
