Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting baking to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism, with opportunities to operate various types of Ford Transit van. Candidates should possess a valid driver's license and relevant driving experience, including commercial driving if applicable.

Responsibilities

Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations in and around the city of Calgary Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as dollies and pallet jack Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to maintain safety standards Maintain proper documentation of deliveries and vehicle logs Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery status Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during operations Assist with warehouse duties, loading and unloading as required Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting if required for vehicle maintenance (ie Oil changes, gas fills)

Qualifications

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; Flexible schedule during busy periods - must have Tuesday and Thursday availability Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks as needed

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
