Part-time Delivery Driver

We specialize in meeting our client needs for high quality dry cleaning. For over 62 years we have made our clients dry cleaning, wash and fold, household items, wedding attire and alteration needs our TOP priority.

Our

Pickup and Delivery Driver

acts as the face of a dry cleaning business, managing the transportation of garments between customer location and the cleaning facility. This role combines driving, logistics, and customer service.

What You Will Be Doing:

Pickup and Delivery:

Collect garments from homes or businesses and return cleaned items on schedule.

Route Management:

Follow assigned delivery routes efficiently; adjust for traffic or weather as needed.

Customer Interaction:

Greet clients, answer basic questions, and handle concerns with professionalism.

Vehicle Maintenance:

Perform pre- and post-trip inspections; keep the vehicle clean and in good working order.

Item Handling:

Load and unload bags and packages of clothing

Communication:

Coordinate with dispatch and facility staff to ensure smooth operations.

Skills and Qualifications:

Customer Service Skills:

Friendly demeanor and clear communication are key.

Time Management:

Ability to stick to schedules and manage multiple stops efficiently.

Physical Stamina:

Must be able to lift and carry bags of clothing up to 50 pounds

Attention to Detail:

Ensure correct items are picked up and delivered to the right clients.

Independence:

Comfortable working alone , navigating different neighborhoods and the down town core of our city.

Valid Driver's License:

A clean driving record is essential and a current drivers abstract in required You are comfortable driving and frequently parking in Calgary*
You are comfortable driving a full size cargo van*

Work Conditions

Hours:

Often part-time or under 30 hours per week, with flexible scheduling

Environment:

Driving in various weather conditions; frequent lifting and walking
