JOB TITLE: Driver

General Summary: We are looking for a responsible, reliable delivery driver who can operate Transit, 3-Ton, and 5-Ton single axle vehicles. You will represent our company in a professional and courteous manner, delivering our products directly to customers.

Responsibilities

Use GPS delivery route system with order tracking Inspect, operate, and manage company vehicles Load, unload, prepare, inspect customer product orders Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses within southern Alberta Complete logs and reports Follow regulations and safety standards Deal with customers directly upon delivery to site locations Pick and prepare orders
Requirements

2 years of experience as a 3 or 5 ton delivery driver preferred Must be comfortable driving on roads in Alberta weather conditions Valid Class 5 driver's license Customer relation & Interaction skills Computer & Smartphone skills Handling of power equipment (Pallet jacks) Ability to work in group or individual settings Excellent organizational and time management skills Good driving record with minimal traffic violations Applicant must be 25 years of age or older Ability to lift 40-50 Lbs when required
Details

Working hours Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Overtime hours will be required occasionally Delivering inside the city and southern Alberta Working hours per week: 40-50 hrs High school degree
Training

Position training will take place for 3 Days at Edmonton head office All accommodations will be paid for during time of training TDG/Whimis will be provided
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
