Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Efficiently load items into the delivery vehicle and ensure they are securely fastened. Unload items upon delivery and handle them with care.

2. Deliveries will be made within the city of Calgary and out-side Calgary as well.

3. Plan and follow the most efficient delivery routes to ensure timely delivery. This may involve using GPS or maps.

4. Deliver packages or goods to specified addresses, ensuring that they reach the correct recipients and are delivered on time.

5. Dropping and re-collecting event related stuff from the location.

6. Regularly inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and overall vehicle condition and log all the details in the Logbook. Report any issues or repairs if needed.

7. Manage any returns or exchanges, ensuring items are handled correctly and returned to the appropriate location.

8. Occasionally assist with inventory management by checking stock levels or assisting with warehouse tasks.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Possess a clean driving record and abstract.

Have a reliable means of transportation within the location and surroundings.

Well versed with the area and Calgary quadrants.

Can work unsupervised.
