We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering packages to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle loaded packages. The Delivery Driver will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to customer satisfaction.
Duties
Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
Load and unload packages.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery logs and receipts.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
Requirements
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Delivery van with commercial insurance .
Experience in commercial driving preferred, with a strong understanding of delivery work.
Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with loading and delivering packages.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
