We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to navigate efficiently through different routes.
Duties
Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport products to designated locations.
Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling of goods.
Maintain accurate delivery records and complete necessary paperwork.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform minor maintenance as needed.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
Utilize navigation tools to determine the most efficient routes for deliveries.
Experience
Previous experience in commercial driving is preferred.
Familiarity with freight handling and logistics operations is a plus.
Experience operating forklifts or heavy equipment is advantageous.
Basic automotive repair skills are beneficial for maintaining delivery vehicles.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for managing deliveries effectively.
