We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving and a strong understanding of freight handling. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of items during transit. Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate delivery records, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Assist in the operation of forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed for loading and unloading tasks. Perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles, including basic automotive repairs when necessary.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience preferred. Familiarity with freight handling procedures and safety regulations. Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record-keeping. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers. Previous experience in automotive repair is a plus but not mandatory.
