We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. This role requires a valid driver's license, familiarity with commercial driving, and the ability to operate heavy equipment when necessary. The Delivery Driver plays a vital role in ensuring our clients receive their orders efficiently and in excellent condition.

Duties

Safely operate delivery vehicles, including trucks and vans, to transport freight and goods to designated locations. Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment when required, adhering to safety protocols. Ensure all deliveries are made on time and accurately, verifying delivery details with customers or recipients. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance or report issues promptly. Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and paperwork for each trip. Assist with warehouse operations such as inventory management and freight handling as needed. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules or delays. Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation activities.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Knowledge of automotive repair basics is advantageous for vehicle maintenance tasks. Prior experience in commercial driving or delivery services is preferred. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate documentation. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and customers. Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks regularly.
