As a Delivery Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their orders promptly and safely. Responsibilities
Safely operate company provided pickup truck to transport automotive parts to various locations.
Load and unload products, ensuring all items are handled with care to prevent damage.
Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe working condition.
Handle heavy lifting and moving of packages as required, utilizing equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each route completed.
Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure timely order fulfillment and address any issues that arise during delivery.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role, showcasing your ability to navigate routes effectively.
Strong customer service skills that demonstrate your commitment to client satisfaction.
Experience working in a warehouse environment is preferred, providing insight into logistics operations.
Valid G license is required with a clean driving abstract for insurability.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely and efficiently.
Knowledge of operating forklifts and pallet jacks is advantageous for managing deliveries.
Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents in recent years.
Strong organizational skills to manage time effectively while on the road.
